Book Coaching
Book Coaching
Writing a book is hard, which is why authors command a great deal of respect. Working with a book coach can make the process easier and more enjoyable. Being accountable to someone can also do wonders for boosting productivity.
How It Works

Book coaching often begins with refining the idea of your book. The focus will be on your goals for publishing the book, its overarching theme and any sub-themes. We will also set out how you can build writing into your daily routine and common issues around writing confidence and finding your voice as an author. This will help you develop your all-important chapter outlines.

Book coaches Jessica Mudditt and Meg English can provide high-level feedback on chapter summaries and chapters submitted ahead of coaching sessions. Some clients like to send up to 40 pages for review in one session, with feedback provided in a separate session (and noted in the text).

Hembury Books also provides editing and self-publishing services, so you can continue your author journey with us if you wish.

One session costs $500 plus GST, and it includes a 50 minute coaching session and 50 minutes of reviewing your work, either before or after the session.
